Please Note:  Silver Cliff Rescue Squad, Inc. is NOT a division of the Town of Silver Cliff, nor is it part of Silver Cliff Fire Department. 

Silver Cliff Rescue Squad, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing emergency medical services in the Marinette County towns of Athelstane and Silver Cliff, WI. Much of the covered 208 square miles is unpopulated forest and recreational use lands. The area boasts:  two county parks and remote camping, many miles of forestry roads, snowmobile/ATV-UTV trails, a beautiful new bike trail system, and a major kayaking/rafting river.

The dedicated squad crews are largely comprised of volunteer Emergency Medical Technician-Basics, Emergency Medical Responders, and Drivers, along with a couple of Advanced-EMTs who come in from out of town. The unit consists of one rescue squad and a UTV. Crews answered 103 calls last year. Medical direction is provided by Aurora Bay Care Medical Center-Marinette. The hospital provides Advanced Life Support Paramedic intercepts as needed.

This month's meeting will be held the third Sunday of January, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Silver Cliff Town Hall located at N11929A County I. The February, 2025 and subsequent meetings will be held at the Silver Cliff Emergency Services Building located at W13600 County C.
