Garbage Pickup & Recycling

The Town of Silver Cliff is proud that we have embraced Recycling and Garbage collection in an effort to keep our Small Beautiful Community as Pristine as possible. Please do not dump items in our beautiful woods or leave garbage where animals can get into it. Let's keep Silver Cliff Beautiful! 

** YOU MUST BE A PROPERTY OWNER OF THE TOWN OF SILVER CLIFF TO USE THE SILVER CLIFF RECYCLING CENTER OR DUMP YOUR GARBAGE HERE**

Garbage Pick-up:  
First, Third and Fifth Wednesday from December 1st through end of March. Begining April 1st through end of November, garbage is picked up Every Wednesday. 

Please have your garbage set out in animal proof container by 7:30 a.m. PLEASE NOTE: it is the landowner's responsibility to clean up any garbage that gets strewn about prior to pick up!

NON-RESIDENTS: Please take your garbage home with you or deposit in appropriate dumpsters located in the Silver Cliff Recycling Center ONLY DURING HOURS OF OPERATION!  

RECYCLE CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION: 
Recycle Center Attendants will be present to collect fees and ensure proper disposal of Recyclables/ Garbage in the proper receptacles. DO NOT BRING ITEMS FROM OUTSIDE THE COMMUNITY FOR DISPOSAL!

First/Third Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Second/Fourth Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Recycling center is closed on Holidays.

Recycling Area is located next to the Silver Cliff Town Hall on County Hwy I.

DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE/ RECYCLABLES OUTSIDE THE CENTER WHEN CLOSED and there is NO ATTENDANT! - TAKE IT WITH YOU AND RETURN WHEN THE RECYCLE CENTER IS OPEN!!

WE DO NOT TAKE: Contact Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for Disposal Information/ Locations.

• No automotive oil and batteries
• NO CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL OF ANY KIND!

• Newspapers- No bundling, bagging or ties
• Magazines-brochures
• Paper Bags, Cardboard- Flatten and cardboard must be cut in 2 foot x2 foot piceces
• Glass- any color, cleaned  Labels permitted
• Tin cans- cleaned, labels permitted
• Keep Aluminum Cans Separate
• Plastic must be rinsed clean of any debris
