It is important to review Building Ordinances before work begins. You may download building guidelines (which include current fees), instructions, application form and site plan by tapping the "DOWNLOAD" to the upper right side of this notice. 

The current minimum parcel size to build a dwelling is 2.5 acres with 1 dwelling per parcel.

Non-Dwelling Building Permiits can be obtained from the Town Clerk at 715-757-3163.  The permit can also be printed below and mailed to the Town Hall with check payble to Town of Silver Clifff at a cost of $75.00.  

Burning permits are required by the Wisconsin DNR in many parts of the state to conduct legal and responsible burning in the outdoors.

The permits are free and easy to obtain. They encourage the public to burn safely and are proven to be effective in protecting lives, property and natural resources from the damages of wildfires.

The Town Hall is available to rent by the Residents of Silver Cliff.

This rental agreement is available at the Town Hall or you may download the rental agreement and return it to the Town Hall with the Fee and Security Deposit.

The Silver Cliff Memorial Picnic Area is open for rental by Silver Cliff residents. Non-residents who would like to rent the park will also be given consideration by the Park Committee. Applications for the park rental are available to Download or at the Town Hall or the Park Committee. The park is a great place for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, weddings and family reunions. 

The park offers:

• Picnic Tables
• 2 Refrigerators
• Hot-Cold Running Water
• Electricity
• Two Rustic Privies

All listed above is available for a donation of $35 plus a $100 security deposit (which is refunded when the park inspection is concluded). There is also a fee for any garbage that is left behind and this will be deducted from the security deposit. For an additional $10, there is a walk-in cooler available. You may also rent Porta-Potties to be brought in at your own cost.

No alcohol is allowed to be sold on premise.

No pets allowed except for licensed service animals.

There is plenty of room for parking cars with designated parking areas for motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs. No motorized vehicles are allowed in the developed picnic area.

Annual License Fees:

Neutered or Spayed: $3.00
Non-neutered or Non-spayed: $8.00

Note: There is a $5 late fee for licenses purchased after April 1.

Stray/Unlicensed Dogs:

A daily fee of $10 shall be assessed for impounded dogs. The dog shall not be released to the owner until total amount of fees have been paid. In addition to the $10 daily fee, a $75 deposit shall be paid to the Town of Silver Cliff before an unlicensed dog shall be released to the owner. Within 14 days, the owner shall provide proof of a valid dog license, pay any fees to the Town of Silver Cliff for violation of ordinance and the deposit will be refunded.

To report a stray dog, or cows, contact Town Constable Sabin Rosenbaum (715) 850-2664.

The Driveway Application is available at the Town Hall or Download, complete and return to the SC Town Hall.

Please print, complete and return the application with the $50.00 fee.  Checks should be made payable to the Town of Silver Cliff

Silver Cliff Community Center is available for rent by the Residents of Silver Cliff.
